Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act (S. 5653)

The Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act is a comprehensive permitting bill that will change how America approves energy and infrastructure projects. It puts firm deadlines on federal reviews, stops years of lawsuits from killing projects that are already approved, speeds up the power lines the grid needs and guarantees that a permit holds once it's granted.

Wildfire Emissions Prevention Act of 2026 (S. 5045)

The bipartisan Wildfire Emissions Prevention Act (WEPA) of 2026 amends the Clean Air Act (CAA) to remove regulatory barriers that deter states and land managers from using prescribed burns and other proactive forest management tools to prevent wildfires.

American Enrichment Deployment Licensing Modernization (S. 5249 | H.R. 9612)

This bill would accelerate the deployment of new domestic uranium enrichment facilities. Expanding U.S. enrichment capacity strengthens energy and national security, reduces reliance on geopolitical adversaries and secures a reliable fuel supply for critical American nuclear infrastructure.

Foundational Infrastructure for Responsible Use of Small Modular Reactor Technology (FIRST) program authorization (S. 5063 | H.R.8648)

The FIRST Act and the Framework for Oversight of Responsible Global Energy (FORGE) Act authorize the FIRST program within the Department of State, managed by the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security.

Earth Mapping Resources Initiative (Earth MRI) Reauthorization Act (S. 4870)

The Earth Mapping Resources Initiative (Earth MRI) Reauthorization Act would reauthorize the U.S. Geological Survey’s Earth MRI program, which collects the foundational geologic data needed to identify critical minerals, unlock energy potential and support responsible domestic resource development.

Nuclear REFUEL (Recycling Efficient Fuels Utilizing Expedited Licensing) Act (S. 2082 | H.R. 3978)

Nuclear fuel recycling technology can increase energy security by turning nuclear waste into fuel for advanced reactors and reduce the volume of used nuclear fuel that ultimately requires permanent storage.
