Washington, DC – Tuesday, December 9, 2025 — ClearPath Action released the following statement applauding the U.S. House of Representatives for passing bipartisan legislation to modernize federal permitting, increase transparency and strengthen America’s ability to build the energy and infrastructure projects needed to maintain global competitiveness.
“Modern tools and actionable data will speed up environmental reviews, strengthen accountability and provide clearer timelines for developers,” said ClearPath Action CEO Jeremy Harrell. “The legislation advanced by the House today will improve permitting transparency, identify systemic bottlenecks, and serve both developers and the public.”
ClearPath Action endorsed two bills passed by the House today:
“The passage of these bipartisan bills is a strong signal that Congress recognizes the urgency of permitting reform and the need to deliver solutions that support America’s energy dominance,” Harrell added. “We encourage the Senate to take up and pass these bills so the federal permitting system can gain the transparency, predictability and modernization it needs to let America build.”
