The Republican Base Responds Well to Clean Energy Message
If a Republican candidate for Congress supported policies that were focused on a healthier environment and the development of more clean energy technologies, would you be more likely to vote for him or her, or would those policies have no effect on your vote?
Echelon Insights fielded a survey to n=3000 registered voters to landlines and cell phones, sampled from a national voter file. Models were trained on the survey responses, with individual-level predictions of support for clean energy policies. These predictions were then aggregated to create estimates of support for each state and Congressional Districts.
