Efficient Nuclear Licensing Hearings Act (S. 1757)

The Unearth Innovation Act of 2025 would establish a Mining and Mineral Innovation Program within the Department of Energy (DOE) to advance the research, development, and commercialization of innovative technologies related to mining, recycling, and processing.

Certainty for Our Energy Future Act  (H.R. 3291)

The Certainty for Our Energy Future Act would preserve the technology neutral clean electricity credits for innovative, clean baseload technologies like advanced nuclear and next generation geothermal, while phasing out the credit after 2030 for mature technologies like wind and solar.

The Committing Leases for Energy Access Now (CLEAN) Act (H.R. 1687)

The Committing Leases for Energy Access Now (CLEAN) Act (H.R. 1687) updates the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 to require annual geothermal lease sales on federally managed lands and mandates timely permitting decisions for geothermal drilling projects.

Financing Our Energy Future Act (S. 510 – 2/11/25 / H.R. 2545 – 04/01/2025)

The Financing Our Energy Future Act (FOEFA) of 2025 expands Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs) to include renewable energy, advanced nuclear, energy storage, carbon capture, hydrogen production, and transportation fuels. Previously limited to fossil fuels, MLPs would offer clean energy developers the tax benefits of partnerships while enabling corporate-like capital fundraising.
